The Hawtree Creek Solar Project, located in Warren County, North Carolina, on the outskirts of Warrenton, was acquired by Amazon, a leading global purchaser of renewable energy. In 2021, this remarkable project was honored to receive the title of the NC Sustainable Energy Association's Sustainable Energy Project of the Year for Utility-Scale Solar.
